Nuisances

Postby Haggis » Tue Mar 02, 2010 7:21 pm

I'm beginning to lose my patience with some of our newer members.

If all you are going to contribute to the forum is slag off other members competition arrangements, to the extent that it is now difficult to find the real comepetition details amongst the rubbish, there is no future for you on this informative forum.

I have yet to axe anyone from the Beighton Bowler forum, despite several close calls, but I have been known to wield the blade to certain posts in the past.

It is much easier, however, to delete the nuisance user which clears all their posts in one fell swoop.

I will not permit the virus to grow.....

Rather than taking matters into your own hands and sending PMs to what you may consider may be nuisance posters on the Beighton Bowler, please follow these instructions.

Go to "User Control Panel" on the menu options
Choose the "Friends and Foes" tab
Choose "Manage Foes" option
Add the offending poster to the "foes" list and their posts will not appear on your screen

I am becoming more disappointed with what I would politely call "Negative" posters.

This Forum provides a platform for information and comment, but some anonymous members hiding behind psudonyms are taking certain liberties with some of their posts, and I may yet be convinced by some of the fairer members of the Forum either to ban those posting offensive remarks aimed at either individuals or clubs, or at least find a way to ensure all members are easily identified so they may be more careful what they say.
