There was a thrilling climax to the 2008 Beighton Bowler dream team competition with all sort of scenarios possible at Parklands with only a dozen points separating the top 23 team managers.
Keith Hampson led on 94 points, but only added 4 with Danny Sillitoe's semi-final placing to finish on 98, giving his chasers some hope.
Moz started the day on 90 points, and couldn't be caught if his qualifiers at Parklands succeeded, but Andy Farmer and Graham Higgins failed to progress, leaving his second place in real jeopardy.
Steve Barker was hoping for a John Richardson win at Parklands to move up from third place, and he almost got it. The runner-up 8 points for JR and the 4 points from Danny Sillitoe's semi-final spot meant Steve ended on 102.
Young Hatzer has climbed the dream team managers table in the last few weeks, primarily due to Darren Plenderleith's win at Clowne, and the 10 points for the Parklands win plus another 4 from Danny Sillitoe's semi-final placing jumped him up from 88 to 102 to tie with Steve Barker at the top, and a collection of £35 each.
